History[]

Terrance Rebbeck was one of the test subjects of Dr. Emil Gargunza when he was using technology stolen from the alien Qys to create superhuman living weapons. Having transformed Micky Moran, Dicky Dauntless and Johnny Bates into the 'superheroes' Marvelman, Young Marvelman and Kid Marvelman respectively, Gargunza created 'Young Nastyman' as a villain for them to fight, giving him a fictitious origin and implanted memories as the extra-terrestrial mutate Pontag, alias the ridiculously named 'Young Nastyman'. All of the superhumans' supposed adventures were actually false memories implanted while Gargunza's kidnapped test subjects were kept sedated in the Project Zarathustra bunker, but Rebbeck (whose real background is unknown) eventually awoke and escaped, forcing Gargunza to send his other subjects out to deal with him before he caused chaos. Rebbeck apparently died in an erupting volcano while fighting Gargunza's other test subject, Avril Lear.
