Young Marvelman annuals were published by L.Miller & Son, the publishers of Marvelman, Young Marvelman and Marvelman Family, between 1954 and 1964. The 1954 and 1955 editions were both softcovers, while from 1956 onwards they were hardcovers in a slightly smaller format. From 1961 the annual is titled "Young Marvelman Adventures" (the 1961 annual and features Young Marvelman wearing the cape normally associated with the character from whom he was originally derived, the American Captain Marvel Jr). The final annual is tited Marvelman Junior. The annuals contain a mixture of comic strips and illustrated text stories, mostly featuring Young Marvelman, though other characters such as Western hero Doc Holliday, Zip Morgan of the Space Patrol and precocious scamp Young Joey also appear.
