Whitey Logan was a Judge Killer, captured by Judge Dredd and sentenced to life on Devil's Island. He encountered Dredd again in the prison some time later. Ten years after his imprisonment, he escaped and sought revenge on Dredd, taking hostages at a Munce plant and forcing Dredd to enter a death trap in order to save their lives. The supposedly unarmed Dredd used his badge like a throwing star, impaling Whitey in the forehead and causing him to fall into the machinery. Even more years later, Whitey's son attempted to avenge him by killing Dredd, but failed miserably and was shot by his father's killer.
