Gwunn
Warlord of the Ogrons was a comic story in Doctor Who Weekly Vol 1 #13-14, written by Steve Moore and drawn by Steve Dillon. It concerns the misguided attempts by criminal scientist Dr. Linus Leofrix and his assistant Rostow to use illegal and inhumane brain implants to raise the intelligence of the ape-like Ogrons in order to turn them into an army of super soldiers. Predictably, Linus's test subject, Gnork, has other ideas; sent out to defeat the Ogron leader Gwunn and bend the Ogrons to Linus's will, Gnork instead strands Leofrix and Rostow on Ogros with Gwunn while he heads off in their spacecraft to raise an army of his own!
The story was reprinted in colourised form in Doctor Who Classic Comics Vol 1 26.
