History[]
"Turk" Hasan was a violent individual who, upon being drafted into the British Army in World War II, demonstrated his total contempt for authority by repeatedly attacking his commanding officers. Jailed for his crimes, he was released into the custody of Major Taggart, who forced him to agree to join the Rat Pack, a commando unit of ex-convicts who could be sent on the most dangerous missions since nobody cared if they came back alive or not. Turk reluctantly went along with this, but never let Taggart forget that he hated him and would happily kill him if he got the chance.

Despite his violent nature, Turk, who could barely speak English, nonetheless had more of a sense of humour than his comrades, and could occasionally demonstrate a tendency to be protective of his vulnerable teammate, Ronald Weasel.
