Torchwood Magazine was an initially monthly magazine with a regular lead comic strip feature (except in issue #2). It was dedicated to the BBC TV series Torchwood, a spin-off from the hugely successful series Doctor Who. 'Torchwood' is (a) an anagram of 'Doctor Who' and (b) the name of a team of alien-hunters based in Cardiff. The magazine was published by Titan Magazines and ran for 25 issues from 24th January 2008 to 16th December 2010 (having dropped from monthly to bi-monthly frequency with issue #14). There were also two issues of a Torchwood Magazine Yearbook published in 2008 and 2009.
- The story Rift War, which ran in issues #4-13, was reprinted (along with the story Jetsam, from issue #3) as the graphic novel Torchwood: Rift War.
- The story The Selkie, from issue #14, was co-written by Torchwood star John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness) and his sister, Carole Barrowman.
- Several strips from the magazine were reprinted in the Torchwood limited series published by Titan Comics in 2010.
