History[]
Doctor "Tiger" Ninestein (his real name, if he had one, was never revealed) was the ninth clone created by Dr. Gerhard Stein. An arrogant, aggressive, sometimes bloodthirsty individual given to enraged outbursts of "flaming thunderbolts" and with a total lack of respect for the stoic, robotic Zeroids under his command, Ninestein was nonetheless fearless, capable and intelligent as the leader of the Terrahawks, the elite Earth Defence Squadron set up to defend Earth in the year 2020 from the evil Zelda and her alien androids from the planet Guk. His catchphrase was "I have a theory..."

If Ninestein was killed, he could be replaced within 24 hours by another of the nine clones, hence the nickname "Tiger" (because cats are said to have nine lives).

Dr. Tiger Ninestein may have possibly the silliest name in the history of heroic fiction. He was created by Gerry Anderson.
