Thistlebone was a horror serial by writer T.C. Eglington and artist Simon Davis which ran in 2000 AD from prog 2135 to prog 2144. It centred around Avril Eason, sole survivor of a cult that intended to sacrifice her, and journalist Seema Chaudry, as they return to the isolated village of Harrowvale in search of the reasons for what happened. But they discover that the cult, worshippers of an ancient deity named Thistlebone, may not have been as deluded as they had previously believed...
