Third World War was a series created by Pat Mills and Carlos Ezquerra which ran in the anthology title Crisis from 1988-1990. Set in the near future, the highly political series concerned a group of young 'peace volunteer' soldiers (the most notable being Eve) conscripted into the service of a global corporation. Later, various other artists would work on the strip, including D'Israeli, Sean Phillips, Duncan Fegredo, John Hicklenton, Richard Piers Rayner, Angie Kincaid and Steve Pugh. The character Finn, who subsequently appeared in 2000 AD, was introduced as part of the cast of Third World War.
The series was later reprinted as a six issue limited series for the American market by Fleetway/Quality.
