Daisy Mann and the Honorable Lady Dorothea Justin were two little girls from opposite ends of the social spectrum who together formed a formidable synchronised swimming duo. Unfortunately, out of the water they didn't get along at all, since Daisy thought Dotty was a snob (which she was) and Dotty considered Daisy to be a pleb (which, technically, she was). Consequently, they avoided each other wherever possible when not in the pool, but life had a way of constantly throwing them together.
