The Ion Duke is a character from the 2000 AD strip Nemesis the Warlock and part of the Millsverse. He was the head of the alien Gothic Empire's military. He was a narrow-minded individual, and while not a bad person, ultimately was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of his people at the hands of Torquemada and his Terminators.
Nemesis the Warlock eventually convinced the Duke to retaliate against the Terminator invasion. The Duke won, thanks to the help of Nemesis, but not without his treacherous daughter Ursa getting killed in the process.
