History[]

The Doctor's eleventh incarnation was (visually) a rather awkward, gangling youth who inexplicably believed that he was cool, despite all available evidence to the contrary. He described himself as "less of a young professional, more of an ancient amateur." The Eleventh Doctor's gentle, playful demeanour and quirky sense of humour endeared him to most people he met, especially little old ladies who needed someone to try on their hand-knitted jumpers. Forget the Oncoming Storm: this was the Doctor as the Oncoming Sunny Interval.

The Eleventh Doctor travelled with Amy Pond and Rory Williams for a surprisingly long time, and later with Clara Oswald, facing threats such as The Weeping Angels, the Daleks and the Tribe of Gum. After Amy and Rory were marooned in 1930s New York he also travelled with Alice Obiefune (because she was sad), John Jones and the being known as Arc.
