History[]
The individual known only as the Collector was a white haired old man in formal attire who kept a seemingly huge collection of odd artifacts and mementos, each of which had a strange and often disturbing story attached to it. Each week, in the pages of Eagle, he would tell the story associated with one of these objects in order to entertain the readership.
He was evidently a member of the same rather select club that also included Damian Darke, Simon Gaunt and possibly Misty (though possibly not, as any club the Collector and his male colleagues deigned to join would probably only be open to gentlemen of a certain class, no women allowed).
Notes[]
While the framing sequences for the Collector's tales, featuring the man himself, were drawn by Ron Smith, the stories themselves were photo strips. At least one was written by Alan Moore.
