The Angry Planet was a serial by Alan Hebden and Massimo Belardinelli which ran in the weekly title Tornado, running in all 22 issues of the short lived comic. It concerned a war between 21st century colonists on Mars and a huge corporation which was attempting to wipe them out in order to stripmine the planet. Unfortunately, neither nominal hero Matt Markham nor the villainous Hugo Kray and his loony security chief "The Samurai" actually have much personality, so it's pretty much impossible to care who wins, though it is quite a nice touch that the colonists have adopted Ares — the Greek counterpart of the Roman war god Mars — as their deity of choice. The only other thing of note about the series is that Mars Inc.'s troopers look almost exactly like the Cylons from the original Battlestar Galactica...
