The Amazing Maze Dumoir was a story by Alan Hebden and Ian Gibson which appeared in 2000 AD progs 368 and 369 in 1984. In its own words, "Earth cop Jebel Claw is taking the mysterious Maze Dumoir home to testify as chief prosecution witness in the trial of Gorgon Van Kline, the richest man in the galaxy." They crash on an uncharted world and are promptly abducted by a ship full of Zanxi slavers, which Maze insists is all part of the plan. It turns out that Maze Dumoir is a special stellar agent (like a spy... in space!) who wants to stop Van Kline selling Earth to the Zanxi to be terraformed into a base for them. Maze accomplished her goal easily and was never heard from again, which was a shame.
