Terry Patrick (1929 - 1996) was a comics artist originally from Romford, Essex, who worked primarily for DC Thomson and sometimes also for Amalgamated Press. His credits included Rick Random for Super Detective Library, The Black Sapper in Rover, Beezer and Hotspur, Red Star Robinson and Zigimar-Master Spy also for Hotspur, Killer Kane for Warlord, The Smasher for Bullet, Starhawk for The Crunch and Spike, and strips for Beano, Victor and Topper amongst others. He was a childhood friend of fellow artist Ron Embleton, and originally set up a studio with Embleton and Jim Bleach after entering an art competion set up by DC Thomson in 1950. He retired from comics in 1991 and died in Dundee in 1996.
