Supergirl (also known as Kara Zore-El, Linda Lee or Linda Danvers) is an American character first created by DC Comics in 1958, the cousin of Superman and a fellow survivor of the doomed planet Krypton. She has appeared in reprints in various British comics over the years, notably including the anthology title The Super Heroes Monthly, Superman Spectacular Vol 1 2, various Superman Annuals and her famous cousin's digest title Superman Pocketbook (all published by Egmont) but did not receive a British solo reprint title until 2015 when Titan Comics launched DC Comics Showcase: Supergirl.

- She has no connection to Supergirl (Jenny Brown) or Supergirl (Susie Sullivan), both of whom were wholly UK originated characters.
