Notes[]
- This was the last issue of Starlord ever published. After this issue it merged with 2000 AD, which continues to publish the adventures of Strontium Dog Johnny Alpha and the Ro-Busters gang to this day. Timequake and Mind Wars also made brief reappearances in the Galaxy's Greatest Comic.
- Published on October 7th 1978, and sold for 12 pence. Starlord departed this vale of tears in the proud knowledge that it had never increased its cover price.
Trivia[]
Starlord addresses his star-troopers on page twenty-one, twenty-two and twenty-three. He informs them that the Int. Stell. Fed. has been sent packing, and that "NEXT WEEK 2000 A.D. AND STARLORD GO SUPERNOVA WHEN THEY LINK UP TO BRING YOU THE BEST OF BOTH PAPERS, THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS" (sic).
Recommended reading[]
The story continues in 2000 AD...
