The Skash, characters from the 2000 AD strip Dan Dare, are a strange species of alien with a love for war and carnage who had eyes in the palms of their hands and huge mouths on their torsos. They were fully loyal to the equally strange Two of Verath and equipped with powerful cannons and flying vehicles. The Skash briefly served the Mekon during his partnership with the Two of Verath, fighting Dan Dare and his friend Rok, but later turned against him when the Mekon tried to kill their leader. When the Two of Verath's home world was destroyed it took out a large number of Skash.
