Simon "Si" Spurrier is a British comics writer who was born in 1981 and is not yet dead. According to his website "He spends much of his time in quiet cafés and pubs, where he exerts an unwanted cosmic magnetism upon any loud or malodorous patrons who should enter." He is on Twitter here. Were a movie to be made of his life, he would probably be played by Burn Gorman.
