Sean Phillips (born 27th January 1965) is a comics artist who began his career in the 1980s working on John Smith's New Statesmen and Straitgate and Pat Mills's Third World War, all for Crisis, before branching out into American comics as part of the 'British Invasion', working on titles including Hellblazer, Marvel Zombies and Batman. Back home in the UK, he has since worked on various stories for 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine, including Judge Dredd, Devlin Waugh (pictured), Danzig's Inferno, Vector 13, Armitage, Downlode Tales and Sinister Dexter.

In London in 2011 Sean Phillips helped to set two Guinness World Records, 'Fastest Production of a Comic Book' and 'Most Contributors to a Comic Book'.1
