Sapphire & Steel was a comic strip based on the infamously spooky TV sci-fi series of the same name by prolific screenwriter Philip J. Hammond, starring David McCallum (Steel) and Joanna Lumley (Sapphire) as two unearthly secret agents. The strip was written by Angus Allan and drawn by Arthur Ranson, and ran in the pages of Look-In from 1979-1981. It ran for 76 two page installments, comprising fifteen "assignments". One story appeared in an annual.
