History

Rose Tyler was a self-centred and deeply irritating young woman who travelled with the ninth and tenth incarnations of the Time Lord known as The Doctor, and deluded herself that he was as infatuated with her as she was with him. The Doctor eventually left her (and her domineering mother) in another universe with no hope of returning, with a flawed copy of himself as a kind of consolation prize.

Powers and abilities

Powers

When (briefly) channelling the power of the time vortex as the Bad Wolf, Rose was theoretically omnipotent, at least if you believe her own assessment. Which I wouldn't, personally.

Abilities

(As Bad Wolf) able to reverse time and raise the dead (see Captain Jack Harkness). (As Rose) minor gymnastic ability, good at cooking chips, excellent at treating her boyfriend Mickey like crap.

Weaknesses

Not very bright; incredibly irritating; can never keep her gob shut.

Paraphernalia

Transportation

The TARDIS.

Notes

Rose travelled with the Doctor in the Doctor Who strips in Doctor Who Magazine, Doctor Who Adventures, Doctor Who — Battles in Time, the Doctor Who Annual (2006—2007) and Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor, amongst other titles.

Trivia

Rose was played on TV by Billie Piper.
