Roger Noel Cook (born 1946) is a British comics writer, musician and magazine publisher. He worked for IPC in the early 1960s, but from 1964 became a staff writer on TV Comic, where he wrote several strips, notably including Doctor Who. His numerous stories featuring the first, second and third incarnations of The Doctor have led to his being called "the most prolific Doctor Who writer in any medium." He formed the band Stud Leather while at IPC, but they split up after releasing one single; Cook later released a solo single in 1973. He later became the UK CEO of Warner Bros. before moving on to Paul Raymond Publications, where he invented the video "men's magazine" Electric Blue (for which he also created most of the music) and later worked on Penthouse magazine. He has also occasionally returned to comics.
