Robina Hood was a young female outlaw, the granddaughter of the legendary Robin Hood, who lived in 12th century Sherwood Forest. Good with a bow, she was nonetheless fairly clueless in other areas, and she and her gang of Merry Maids frequently needed to be helped out of the various scrapes they'd gotten into by her elderly relative (who was himself still living in the greenwood despite being so old and infirm he could barely stand up half the time).
