Ro-Jaws' Robo-Tales was an intermittent series of usually humorous short stories which ran in 2000 AD between progs 144 and 196, 'hosted' by fan favourite character Ro-Jaws. Pretty much in the same vein as Tharg's Future Shocks, the only thing that distinguished Robo-Tales was that every story revolved around robots.
Only fifteen Robo-Tales were published, nine of which were written by Gary Rice, though the series was conceived by Pat Mills, who wrote the first one. Other writers to work on the series included Kelvin Gosnell, Oleh Stepaniuk and Alan Moore (one of Moore's three entries introduced the character of Abelard Snazz, who would spin-off into his own series). Artists included Dave Gibbons, Kevin O'Neill, Steve Dillon, Ian Gibson, John Higgins, John Richardson, Brett Ewins, Jose Casanovas, Mike White and Brendan McCarthy.
