History[]
The Red Shadows were a group of fanatics who acted as the private army of the would-be world conqueror Baron Ironblood. They were led by the ruthless Black Major and their ranks included the Red Vulture (a vehicle expert), the Red Jackal (a former operative of the peacekeeping force Action Force turned traitor), Red Wolf (an astronaut) and the Red Laser, their chief scientist. The Red Shadows also had subdivisions consisting of non-human operatives, the reptilian Krakens and the android Mutons. The Red Shadows, whose battle cry was "Blood for the Baron", clashed with Action Force repeatedly until Ironblood apparently betrayed them to the U.N for reasons of his own. The Shadows were almost wiped out but the Black Major later led them in an attempt to get revenge on their former leader.
