Realm of the Damned is a horror story by Alec Worley, Pye Parr and Luke Preece. It was serialised in the Judge Dredd Megazine and it has its own website.
The Judge Dredd Megazine describes it as follows: "Some time in the near future. The world has finally been overrun by the forces of darkness. The Vatican's last line of paranormal defence — The Congregation — has been overwhelmed, and sole survivor Alberic Van Helsing is wanted by the creatures that were once his prey. But something even worse has just been reborn: the half-vampire Balaur..."
Van Helsing, by the way, is the same vampire hunter who appeared in Bram Stoker's Dracula. He now uses a serum made from vampire blood to prolong his life, and is forced to confront the question of whether he kills creatures of darkness because it is God's will, or because he enjoys it.
