Psi-Division

Psi-Division, set up in 2057, is a division of Mega-City One's Justice Department which deals with matters relating to the supernatural and other threats beyond the scope of the average Judge. Its operatives are all psychic to some degree, though they have various different fields of specialisation. Some are experts in interrogation, reading the minds of uncooperative suspects, while others foresee future events with varying degrees of accuracy, or are skilled in combating supernatural menaces like the Dark Judges.

Sadly, though its operatives (who, due to their special gifts, are sometimes rather eccentric by Justice Department standards and are allowed a certain level of latitude not given to the average Judge) are for the most part dedicated professionals, Psi-Division's reputation has been damaged in recent years by its failure to accurately foresee a number of disasters that befell the city (notably the rise of the Mutant, which was essentially caused by a Psi-Division operative getting a bit mixed up). It no longer has a representative on the ruling Council of Five, its place having been taken by a representative of the Wally Squad.

Psi-Division has a number of sub-divisions, including the Department of Magic, the Exorcist Judges and the Dream Police.
