History[]
Leia was raised by Senator Bail Organa and his wife on the planet Alderaan, but unbeknownst to her, was actually the daughter of the corrupt former Jedi Knight Darth Vader and the sister of Luke Skywalker (something which may have caused some embarrassment when she and Luke eventually discovered the truth, since before doing so they had spent quite a lot of time snogging each other). Leia aided the Rebel Alliance in its war on the Empire, a decision which eventually resulted in her becoming an outlaw and her adopted home planet of Alderaan being destroyed by the Death Star. She ended up hooking up with former smuggler Han Solo, proving that even princesses can't resist a charming rogue.
