Pete Nash is the original creator of Striker, which began life as a daily three panel comic strip in The Sun in 1985 before eventually becoming a weekly comic title in its own right (twice!). Nash's most notable trait seems to be his sheer, unrelenting determination to keep the Striker strip going for its dedicated fan base against often overwhelming odds.
