

Paul Cornell (born July 1967) is a British writer who has worked in comics since the 1990s, as well as being a successful novelist and TV scriptwriter. He is possibly best known for his work on Doctor Who, having written for both the TV series and the ranges of original novels and audio adventures based on it (he is also the creator of the popular Doctor Who spin-off character Bernice Summerfield) and his early comics work included strips for Marvel UK's Doctor Who Magazine as well as for the Judge Dredd Megazine. He has since worked extensively for both Marvel Comics and their principal competitor DC Comics in the U.S, including the critically acclaimed series Captain Britain and MI-13. In 2015, he wrote The Four Doctors for the Titan Comics Doctor Who line.
