Ordinary is a creator-owned series written by Rob Williams and drawn and lettered by D'Israeli (who lettered it under the nom de plume of H. V. Derci). It was serialised in the Judge Dredd Megazine #340 to #345, and later published as four individual comics and a graphic novel by Titan Comics.
The premise of the story is that one day everybody in the world gets superpowers — some spectacular, some disgusting, some deadly, some comical, some truly bizarre — with the exception of Michael Fisher, a hapless plumber from New York, who stays the same pathetic loser he's always been. Kids on the sidewalk are turning objects into gold, cab drivers are creating new galaxies in the palms of their hands, but Michael can't even get out of bed on time. All he wants is to pick his son up from school, but as the world around him turns into a surreal nightmare, that may be the last thing he ever does...
