Old Horney was the first ever Volgan War Droid built, as well as one of the most powerful.
After being informed that a group of ABC Warriors led by Hammerstein were cooped up in a small cabin in an Arctic forest, Horney led a large attack force in an attempt to wipe them out.
The Volgans caught the Warriors unaware resulting in most of them getting killed. Horney went after Hammerstein and confronted him. The two fought but it ended in Horney loosing his head. Shortly thereafter, Colonel Lash explained to Hammerstein he had given Horney his location and that it was just a test to see if he was up for the Mars Mission.
