Captain O'Grady is a character from the 2000 AD strip Dan Dare. He flew a poorly kept and run-down ship that ran hauls across space. O'Grady's role in the strip was to hire Dan Dare as a navigator and constantly argue with him. He was shown to be a poor captain when he caused the death of one of his crewmen, who was aged to death in a timeslip.
After O'Grady, Dare and fellow crewman Rok were captured by the Mekon and his Skash warriors, O'Grady begged for his life and let slip the identity of Dare to the Mekon. During their escape, O'Grady paused to try and surrender to the Mekon, only to be crushed by a falling statue.
