History[]
Nemon the Venomous is a character from the 2000 AD strip Sláine. She was one of the Lord Weird Slough Feg's priestesses who helped to prepare Medb to be sacrificed to the worm god Crom-Cruach, and was first seen staring intently at a water clock so that Medb would know when it was time to go. When Sláine MacRoth tried to rescue Medb, Nemon wanted to kill him immediately. Fea the Hateful, however, told her that he deserved to be tortured first instead.
Sláine and his fellow prisoners later escaped from the wickerman in which they had been placed as an offering to Crom-Cruach. Nemon and Catha, another priestess, fought against them.
