Lorna Vine was a doctor aboard the medical spaceship Chroma. When it received an amber alert distress signal, she and her assistant Dr. John investigated. It was not long before they discovered that the distress signal was a trap laid by former genetic slaves named Lizardoreli. Dr. John was killed and Lorna was captured and tied down — albeit only briefly, as Captain Davies quickly came riding through and killed the Lizardoreli holding her, saving the day from a species that wanted better treatment in life.
