Lew Stringer's Macho Man

Lew Stringer (born 22nd March 1959) is a freelance comics artist and writer whose career in comics began with fanzines in the late 1970s. His first professional work was providing cartoons for Marvel UK's The Daredevils in 1983, after Alan Moore introduced him to editor Bernie Jaye. He has since worked for various companies including IPC (on Oink! and Buster), Marvel UK (on Combat Colin in Transformers and Action Force), Toxic! and DC Thomson (on various strips in Beano and Dandy). He was one of the principal writers of Sonic the Comic. He has also provided cartoon strips for Panini's Doctor Who Magazine.
