History[]
Korak is actually Jack Clayton (whose rarely used real name is actually John, like his father) the son of the jungle adventurer Tarzan and his wife Jane. He is heir to the Clayton family fortune and will one day inherit the title 'Lord Greystoke' from his father, but like Tarzan, Korak has little use for the ways of the English nobility and prefers adventuring and exploring in the jungles of Africa, where he was born.
Powers and abilities[]
Abilities
Natural agility and peak human reflexes honed by his jungle upbringing.
Strength level
Peak human.
Paraphernalia[]
Transportation
Swinging from tree to tree.
Notes[]
Korak has appeared comparatively infrequently in British Tarzan comics, most notably in those American reprint editions published by Byblos in the 1970s (where his adventures were written by Mark Evanier and illustrated by the likes of Dan Spiegle and Doug Wildey). In most British versions of the Tarzan stories, Korak has been omitted altogether and frequently, Tarzan doesn't even have his Jane, either! Korak has, however, had more success in American publications, even holding down his own title on occasion.
