History[]
Kassan is a character from the 2000 AD strip Nemesis the Warlock. He was an aristocratic pretty boy who became the ruler of Termight after Torquemada's apparent death. In truth however, more or less all of his actions were controlled by his advisor, the Grand Dragon Mazarin.
During his time as ruler, he began to make peace treaties with various alien races, with many migrating to Earth. After Torquemada returned from the dead and escaped their clutches thanks to Nemesis the Warlock, Kassan and the Grand Dragon hired Torquemada's brother Nostradamus to hunt him down.
This all failed and after Torquemada reasserted his control he had Kassan and Broder Kruger (another traitor in his eyes) jailed and later killed, both being crushed to death.
