Justine was on holiday in Greece when she helped an old man whose foot was trapped in some rocks, and was rewarded with the Cloak of Icarus, the Bow of Hypnos, and x-ray goggles, with which she was charged to serve the cause of justice. The old man would communicate with her via a magic mirror in order to tell her where she was needed. Which is not at all creepy...
