Synopsis for "Judge Dredd: The Gift of Mercy"[]

Dizzy and Mercy Roberts are both on welfare and they want to finally have a decent Christmas. Dizzy holds up a pair of rich drug dealers with a toy gun, and Mercy sells her heart (she gets a mechanical replacement). Mercy tells Dizzy they can't keep the drug money, and gives it to charity. With the money from her heart, Mercy can afford a bribe to get Dizzy a job. Dizzy gets her the eight-string gitter of her dreams. It's the best Christmas ever, until Judge Dredd crashes into their apartment. He arrests Mercy for bribing an employer and Dizzy for abetting her (he's already wearing his work uniform).

The Quentin Tarantino Citi-Def are on an exchange trip to Texas City, but their transport is shot down by mutant marauders over the Cursed Earth. Two of them are kidnapped and meet a Judge called Wylde who took the Long Walk. The others are left to face a clean-up crew of muties on tyrannosaurs.
