Joe Loxton was the hero of The Executioner, a series which ran in the pages of Warlord in the 1970s. He had a self-appointed mission in occupied Europe during World War II: to track down and execute, one by one, the members of an SS murder squad called the Dragon Men, who had wiped out his unit and killed his brother.
