James Charles 'Jim' Shooter (born 27th September 1951) is an American comics writer, editor, artist and publisher, and a former Editor in Chief of Marvel Comics. He wrote the otherwise totally British-originated Spider-Man story in Marvel UK's Secret Wars Vol 1 25, though this is probably not going to go down in history as one of the highest points of his long and sometimes controversial career.
