The Iron Major was Nazi super-weapon, a robotic battlesuit operated by a German technician. It was defeated by the Sergeants Four, a group of four British sergeants (obviously), and was apparently lost in a river.
Decades later, the Iron Major suit was recovered by the criminal mastermind known as the Dwarf, working for the mad scientist Von Hoffman.
