I Was a Teenage Tax Consultant was a creator-owned comedic strip by John Wagner and Ian Gibson which ran in the anthology title 2000 AD (progs 1050 to 1059) in 1997 (though it was actually written in 1991). Taking its basic premise from the movie I Was a Teenage Werewolf, it told the somewhat improbable story of teenage biker Jimmy Root who, after being bitten on the ankle by an apparently rabid accountant, finds himself periodically transforming into an obsessive, slightly mad besuited and bespectacled finance consultant who speaks in incomprehensible jargon! The series was slightly baffling at first and contained startling amounts of nudity, but in the end it turned out to be quite an uplifting little tale as love conquers all...
