Synopsis for "The Black Knight"[]
The Black Knight kills Ashtoroth even though Excalibur doesn't want him to. A pearl falls from the dragon's mouth, which contains all his power. When the Black Knight picks it up he has visions of Merlyn and of the Citadel of Necromon. Merlyn senses someone watching him. The dark lord can also tell that he is being watched and grants Karadoc, master of dragons, permission to deal with the Black Knight. Drunk on his newly acquired strength, the Black Knight is tempted to use the ring of power magical pearl to become lord of all three realms and conquer all in his path. He even starts being a git to Valinor. However, a kick from the frightened horse restores him to his senses, and he hides the pearl in his belt because it might come in handy later.
