Synopsis for "The Black Knight"[]
Captain Britain continues to recount the fateful events of a year ago: feeling that a dark power was attacking his aeroplane, he opened the door and leapt out. (Somehow this didn't cause the aeroplane to de-pressurise so that everybody else was sucked out to their deaths.) He survived the fall into the ocean and had a vision of three standing stones on a hilltop. Merlyn says that he must have been guided by the spirit of King Arthur.
Notes[]
Published by Marvel UK in December 1979.
Trivia[]
Captain Britain probably survived his fall from an aeroplane because he is descended from inhabitants of the magical realm of Otherworld.
