Synopsis for "The Black Knight"[]
The Black Knight searches for Moondog but is unsuccessful. Cormac decides to use Moondog as the bait in a trap. He ties him to a standing stone and his muffled cries attract Vortigen, who steps into the circle of standing stones and is trapped in there by Cormac's magic. Cormac and Vortigen start to fight each other. It isn't really a fair fight, because Cormac has two full-length swords and Vortigen only has a single dagger.

Trivia[]
The interrogation method suggested by Croglin in The Black Knight is to cut Moondog's ears off and roast him over an open fire. It isn't clear why Cormac vetoes this, because it would probably have worked.
