History[]

David Banner was a scientist trying to find a way of unlocking the hidden strength that all humans have by the eminently sensible method of bombarding himself with Gamma radiation when he unexpectedly cursed himself to transform in times of stress into a green skinned monstrosity with the mind of a child. Don't you just hate it when that happens? Worse still, his alter ego "the Hulk" was wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of Banner himself! Displaying more of the unique brand of logic that had completely screwed up his life in the first place, Banner eschewed the simple solution of walking into a police station and saying "hi, I'm David Banner, I'm not dead" and instead chose to wander the countryside using a variety of false names while trying to find a cure for his condition, all the while being pursued by a determined (and presumably independently wealthy) freelance journalist named Jack McGee. What an absolute plonker you really are, David...
